Today's painting, titled 107 IGWT #1 is really special. It is part of a series I never finished or showed. While working on those I started experimenting with other media and my paintings went into a whole new direction, so I never finished the series. Although I may one day if I get any requests. Anyway, the paintings spell out IN GOD WE TRUST in 107 pennies. The idea came from my love of pennies and the underdog! Mankind in general puts so much trust into money, yet alot of people deem pennies worthless and would like to take them out of the market. Well I believe that something as invaluable as a penny can be made into something much bigger than itself and that's why I created these paintings. They are a daily proclamation of faith in GOD. Priceless!!!
